How it works
Why mattresses get damp, and how air stops it
Everyone gives off moisture while sleeping. It sinks through the mattress and condenses at the coldest point: the underside, where it rests on a solid base. The 3D mesh lifts the mattress onto an open air gap, so the moisture escapes before it can settle.

Good to know
Can the Airflow mattress pads be cut by hand?
Yes. Curves or corner cuts are easy to do yourself with a good pair of household or tailor’s scissors.
Does the material lose stability after cutting?
No. The honeycomb structure keeps its stability without sewing. Tip: cut it where you can vacuum afterwards, because a few loose threads come off at the edge.
Are Matnext Airflow mattress pads washable?
Yes. The stain resistant polyester mesh can be washed in the machine at up to 40 degrees. It does not absorb odours or moisture and dries very quickly.
Will the 10 mm or the 20 mm PLUS version work for me?
Both reduce condensation and help prevent mould. For small areas without a gain in comfort, the 10 mm version is enough. For noticeably softer lying and wide areas, choose the 20 mm PLUS.
Is the material suitable for a roof tent?
Yes. For hard shell roof tents we recommend the thinner 10 mm version, because the 20 mm version may not let the tent close.
